Who are we looking for? BrightLink is looking for a Marketing Generalist to be the vital link between our brand, audience, and product team, focusing on content creation, direct outreach marketing campaigns (including utilizing lists from conferences and follow-up with prospects), conference coordination, and limited social media management. This is a hybrid role requiring up to 3 days per week in office (Roswell, GA).

Primary Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop engaging content using tools such as ChatGPT, Claude.ai, or other AI systems
  • Plan and execute marketing collateral projects to design new or refresh existing materials
  • Plan and execute direct outreach marketing campaigns, including utilizing lists from conferences and follow-up from prior conversations with prospects
  • Coordinate and oversee all conference logistics and planning
  • Manage and post content on various social media platforms
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment with brand messaging and goals
  • Monitor and analyze marketing performance and suggest improvements as needed
  • Maintain and update marketing materials, ensuring they meet company standards

Estimated breakdown of responsibilities:

  • 35% - Content creation
  • 25% - Direct outreach marketing campaigns
  • 20% - Collaboration with internal teams and strategy development
  • 10% - Social media management
  • 10% - Conference planning and logistics

Skills:

  • Ability to quickly adapt and learn new marketing tools and platforms
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Creative problem-solving to understand and implement marketing solutions
  • Attention to detail in event planning and content creation
  • Self-aware and knowledgeable of when to seek guidance or escalate issues

Experience:

  • 1-3 years of marketing, content creation, or related experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field
  • Experience with social media management and event planning
  • Preferred: Experience in a technology or software-related context
